You can read my review here.Īsteroid City - A surprisingly divisive film, even among Wes Anderson fans. This one is both hilarious and emotionally powerful. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 - One of the best action movies I’ve seen in a long, long time chock full of crazy stunts and exciting set-pieces. But I think I need to go see it one way or another and find out for myself. A part of me is really excited for more Indiana Jones a part of me is dreading what I felt when I went to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny - I haven’t seen this one yet but I think I’m going to go this weekend. Two more head to theaters next week: Christopher Nolan is dropping bombs with Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig is toying with our emotions with Barbie. I thought I’d add an ‘In Theaters’ section just because why not? As great as streaming at home is, there’s nothing like going to the movies! Here are a handful of picks. But I do miss Jamie and Clare and all the other wonderful characters and I intend to see this one through. This is a show that is both very romantic and exciting and filled with really incredible historical stories, and one that sometimes goes too far in its brutality-especially with regards to sexual assault. By horrific, I don’t mean it was bad, I mean it was just very hard to stomach. I keep forgetting that I really, really very badly need to catch up on Outlander, which I walked away from after Season 5’s horrific finale.
